What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Who we are
The Ascension Centre is the contemplation and reconciliation name for The Church of the Ascension – part of the Church of England parish of Malvern Link with Cowleigh, in the Diocese of Worcester. We operate The Ascension Centre under the same umbrella, as part of that charitable organisation. It is administered by the parish’s Parochial Church Council (PCC) and Vicar, The Reverend Phillip Johnson, registered charity #1133920.
We all work closely together and share systems. Within the context of this policy ‘we’ means both The Ascension Centre and PCC Malvern Link. We operate as one data controller under the data protection rules, with completely separate physical data stores for The Ascension Centre activities and our Church activities.
